Brown is the color of love at this plush, posh lounge in thrall to whiskies worldwide: about 900 Scotch, bourbon, rye, Canadian and Tennessee types dominate a spirits list that management says is “more than 1,000” strong. The bottles are beautifully displayed on back-lit shelves, like starlets ready for their close-ups. Cocktails add to the wow, like the Elixir de Le Malt, a potion of gin, St. Germain and lychee purée. At dinner, single malts and cognac find their way into entrée sauces.
